Summer Workshops
Ages 7-14
The School of Ballet Co.Laboratory’s Summer Workshops are for dancers new to our School and dancers looking to maintain their ballet technique, strength and flexibility while diving into some new dance genres as well.

BEGINNING WORKSHOP ⎪ Ages 7-10
A ballet workshop geared towards young dancers interested in studying ballet and complementary dance more in depth during the summer. A 60-minute ballet class will be followed by a 30-minute class of a different dance genre including modern and jazz. Dancers will focus on ballet positions, proper alignment and musicality over the course of 4 weeks. Dancers may wear leotard and tights or any clothing they feel comfortable moving in. Dancers should wear ballet flat shoes.
4-WEEK WORKSHOP

ELEMENTARY WORKSHOP | Ages 9-12
A ballet workshop geared towards dancers interested in deepening their study of ballet and complementary dance genres during the summer. A 90-minute ballet class will be followed by a 30-minute class of a different dance genre including modern and jazz. Dancers will focus on strengthening, proper alignment and musicality over the course of 6 weeks. Dancers may wear leotard and tights or any clothing they feel comfortable moving in. Dancers should wear ballet flat shoes.
6-WEEK WORKSHOP
July 9 - August 15, 2024

PRE-INTERMEDIATE WORKSHOP | Ages 11-14
A ballet workshop geared towards pre-teen and teen dancers interested in deepening their study of ballet and complementary dance genres during the summer. A 90-minute ballet class will be followed by a 45-minute pointe class, then a 30-minute class of a different dance genre including modern and jazz. Dancers will focus on more center work, pointe strengthening, coordination and alignment over the course of 8 weeks. Dancers may wear leotard and tights or dance clothing they feel comfortable moving in. Dancers should wear ballet flat shoes.
8-WEEK WORKSHOP
June 24 - August 14, 2024 (no class on July 3, 2024)
