Juliana Johnson
Teaching Artist
Juliana Johnson is a dancer, choreographer, and visual artist from the Twin Cities. She is currently working as a freelance choreographer, dancer, and graphic designer. She began her training at Classical Ballet Academy, then explored modern and contemporary styles of dance through attending the Saint Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists and training at TU Dance Center. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Fordham University Lincoln Center with a BFA in dance and a BA in visual art. Her company work includes TU Dance Company, Minnesota Opera, Kinematic Dance Theater in NYC, and Arena Dances. She has performed works by Alvin Ailey, Ohad Naharin, Stefanie Batten Bland, Uri Sands, and Gregory Dolbashian. With a passion to create immersive art experiences, Juliana focuses on blending mediums in the performance realm aiming to engage audiences with an embodied sensibility driven by humanity.
Juliana teaches ballet and modern in the Pre-Professional Program at Ballet Co.Laboratory.
