Lyton is the director of a well known Ecaudorian dance group called Away Runakuna. He started dancing at the age of 11. Since then, he participated in many Ecuadorian dance groups in Minnesota that helped him embrace his heritage and learn more about the traditional celebrations of Ecuador through folkloric dance. He began establishing his work in 2015 focusing on indigenous representation from different regions of Ecuador by incorporating folkloric movements while dancing to music of the Andes that gives an energetic and festive dance experience.
